[Mk2] [Generic] Syvecs ECU, Traction Control, and Wheel Speed Sensors

Post by Shmed »

I plugged the Syvecs into my laptop yesterday as I'm looking to configure a CAN feed to my data-logger and I noticed that one of my wheel speed sensors (front right) is not providing a reading to the ECU.

Could this cause an issue with either the traction control, or the ABS? I noticed that my front right wheel does lock up under heavy braking.

I have no warning lights lit.

Possibly too specific an issue, and I'm posting this on the Syvecs forum as well to cover that.

Cheers

..the only thing I can promise for sure is slow progress.

just have this niggling thought that if I rip out the wiring, then the car will never get out of the garage again.

Still in the garage...
