[Mk2] [Generic] Front side lights

Post by F9_adm »

Hi guys just fitted some new front side lights, well second hand but new to me, one of the lights is quite loose and not a good flush fit but the other is fine, can anybody offer any advice or solutions to a quick easy fix

I presume you have secured the main half to the front bumper with the screw?

I have indeed, think it's more the reflector that's the issue

And your reflector has a ball that clips into a plastic socket on the light unit?

some of these have a screw in them to tighten the reflector, too hard to explain but i'll try and get a pic tomorrow, if it's the same as mine (i don't think OEM units are like this) then i bet that's your problem :thumleft:

Ah! I assumed they were OEM units.

It aseems quite normal for cheap aftermarket units not to fit properly.

OP. OEM or aftermarket?
