Right, so my rev1 turbo was misfiring under load so I changed the spark plugs and then thought I might as well check the dizzy, which turned out to be shagged. I had some rev2 leads, dizzy, rotor arm, cap and ignite/coil knocking about so fitted all these to the rev1 but found the big loom plug wouldn't fit the ignite from the rev2, so I swapped the igniter from the rev1 onto the rev2 coil so everything fitted and put it all back together. I now have no spark from the coil.[d'oh!] Has anyone had any experience swapping these bits around, and is there a good solid reason why it definitely wouldn't work? i'm thinking that either the rev1 igniter doesn't like the rev2 coil for some reason, or I have a bad connection or something.
