[Mk2] [NA] Help needed, rear speakers question/problem

My rear speakers work fine but the plastic covers keep slipping and vibrate like hell. My plan is to use a pair of 6x9s instead as I have them kicking around. Only problem is I have no idea where to mount them. Can't put them behind the seats as there is a sub behind the passenger side and an amp behind the drivers. Any ideas where else they can go or should I just disconnect them altogether?
I do have the box in the middle of the seats but the speakers are too deep to both fit in there back to back.

I'd suggest just removing the rear speakers. With decent speakers in the doors - plus a sub - you shouldn't need anything else.

I fitted a sub and amp this weekend, my fronts(door) speakers are edge 5.5". I'll disconnect the rears and see how it sounds, cheers
