how much work to fit mk2 seats

to fit mk2 seats in a mk1?

do 3 holes line up or do all teh brakets need altering?
do the seats sit higher.. i am after a pair of half leather mk2 leats for mine unless i can find another set of seats i want..

from the little i read on this subject mk2 seats will NOT fit in a mk1 but mk3 seats will with very little work, id say mk3 seats are worth a look at or even some lotus seats, yum

had the attached link book marked which may be of use, is for mk3 seats but am guessing something similar would need done for most seats
