[Mk2] [NA] mr2 rev 3 n/a engine miss/rattle

just went back out in the car there and straight after take off the car started missing on acceleration.then i heard this loud rattling so i pulled in straight away and got out n opened the engine lid and i could hear this loud rattling around the intake manifold area

then it stopped.so i reved the car a bit and it started again i turned it off then immediatly.anyone have an idea what this be before i go get it checked?

i was driving the car about 10 mins before that with no issues so it seems very strange but the miss and rattle are obviously related am i in trouble or is there anything simple it might be?

Have you undone anything or removed/ replaced anything in the engine bay recently?

Also check your plugs, wouldn't hurt even if it's a long shot. My car was misfiring in cylinder 3 all of a sudden, checked it, has small amount of water in the grommet (was a rainy night!), cleaned it and the misfiring stopped.
