chargecooler pump

Post by simpson_eh »

hi all

my 205 chargecooler pump has given up after 7 months of the road

so question is -- how much does the 205 pump flow per hour and can anyone recommend a new pump suitable for 19mm hose, i have looked but not sure

I have my old 205 pump sitting round from when I re-did my GT4 last summer. It needs new bearings and is in bits, don't think I have the brackets but drop me a message if you're interested in buying it I'll try and dig it out.

I stuck with the ST205 pump and installed the ST205 ECU. The ECU provides a safety net so that if the pump fails or the fluid level drops then it goes into safe mode and turns on the CEL. It has already shown me a break in the charge cooler wiring and caught a situation where the pressure cap was working loose on the engine lid. You can of course go aftermarket, but don't rule out another ST205 pump and swapping in the ECU.

Dude get a Gale Force marine pump they are the nuts. Can run dry, and seriously move some water. Can be made to fit the original brackets with a bit of thought.
