
I rebuilt the top end of my mr2 and painted all the bits, added a new intercooler, downpipe and exhaust.


I also put in new spark plugs, new oil filter, new fuel filter, new rotor arm and cap.


I started it up and it sounded fine for a few seconds then died, now it starts and sounds horrible.





The spark plugs are wet and have a black ness to them.









I also took the whole thing apart and redid all the jubilee's etc to make sure there is no air gap.

It was running fine before I did this, except an overheating issue which was the thermostat.




It runs.





I'm thinking about taking the fuel rail off, but the fact it is wet means it must be getting enough fuel.


Also, all the spark plugs are wet so it's not like the head gasket has gone as 1 would be worse.


I'm open to ideas.
