I have just installed the standard double din head unit
- model number 1669 into my car but the thing is that i cannot get any sound from the speakers at all.I have checked the trigger cable
(PINK) to check for continuity and that seems OK.Also, i have checked the 12v output from the head unit that goes to the amp
(to switch it on) and that seems ok too, im getting 12v etc.The amps are working fine as i have checked them with my other mr2.
The head unit is also working fine too.
NOW, the interesting thing is that previously, i was using a kenwood double din head unit and everything was working fine.
I have removed that unit and now i am using the standard unit and its giving me issues.
Has anyone come across this problem before
