In September last year the car overheated massively on a long trip.
The pressure valve blew off and the car had to be trailed back to my property. I had the intention of having it worked on over the winter but havnt had the time or resources to do so.The engine turns but will not start.
There is a smell of unburnt fuel. The pressure cap needs replacing (hard to tell in the pic but the pipe that connects to the coolant top up has blown off from the cap) and there is still the issue that caused it overheat to diagnose.The shell is in outstanding the condition for the age, rust had started to form on the sills as is common, but in 2010 I had them re-welded and sprayed at a cost of
£600. The interior too is also in superb condition, with bespoke cream leather seats and doorcards. The car would be the perfect project for someone to get ready for the summer, it passed its last MOT with no advisories, its just the cooling system and maybe engine that needs work.The car will need to be towed or moved by a recovery truck, and is in Cheshire.
