altenator bracket snapped

I need a new bracket asap anyone know where I can get one or got one mine snapped and I've had to leave the car and get a train home. Also would it have done any damage to the car?

Unlikely that it will have done any damage to the engine, outside of perhaps the alternator if it fell off. I'd certainly replace the belt after such a jolt.

yeah it ripped through the first grove of belt so that will be replaced. i should get the new bracket tuesday so will find out if its done any damage once thats fitted.
