My 1995 Rev 3 Red Hot MR2 T-Bar

Post by MR2HOT »

Hi Guys

I have just registered so thought i would say hi, my names Liam and i have just bought a Red MR2 Rev 3 T-Bar which i love. Ive come from 4 years of MX5 ownership but had to give in and buy another MR2 as its 8 years since ive owned one and i must say im glad to be back in one!

I bought it from a dealer and it has a superb service history all stamped up and every MOT since its firts one in 1998! its done 107k miles is a UK car and only had 3 owners and has been extremley well looked after by the previous owner.

I am changing the indicators for clear ones and will get some nice alloys but other than that i just plan to enjoy it as i love the look of it how it is like a little Ferrari :D

I will post some pictures up soon but for some reason i cant at the moment as it wont let me? think i need to make a certain amount of posts before i can post pics, so they will follow.

Hope to see some of you at future meets / events etc

I wont really be modding the MR2 as i love it how it is but the only thing i wanted to change was the indicators and side lights to nice clear ones to neaten things up. Also as it was my 30th birthday last week my mum and dad bought me private number plates :D so just thought id put a couple of pics up showing the new clear indicators and new number plates.

Judging by the previous RX and MX, lowering is just the tip of the iceberg

I look forward to see it all take shape :thumleft:

Yes its a NA, sorry the pictures are not very good and the car was not very clean. I only took these snaps quickly as i was working on building up my track car, another mx5 but seeing as i had the camera to hand took a couple of pics of the MR2. Ill get some better ones soon. To be honest i really love the way the MR2 looks in standard form, i used to own a rev2 in red around 10 years ago which i modified slightly with the big twin exhausts and also was running under car neons! ( this was back when the fast and furious just came out ha ha ha) but this time im keeping it how it is which for me will be hard being that every car i own i have moddified but i now have my track car to modify so i can scratch that itch of modding on that!

How comes Domokun is a JDM car thing?

I bought a couple of them when I was in Japan having seen various images over the years. I thought it was a cool looking character. Then a friend said, when he saw it, 'Ah I see you're trying to do the whole JDM thing with the Domokun'...

Er, no I just though he looks cool!
