[Mk2] [Turbo] Fitting a gt4 charge cooler to a rev3 turbo

Just bought a charge cooler and offered it up for fitting in the engine bay to find that there is no brackets to bolt it too and a few things foul. Am I missing something or is there a list of things I need to source to make this fit easier. Can't find any threads with a how to guide. So need some help on what I need to source as I'm racing it on 15th at donington and would like it running by then.

Things that foul seem to be top of water housing and a hard breather pipe on the water inlet and outlet pipes on he charge cooler.

Also the Outlet pipe from the turbo fouls the charge coolers inlet when trying to line it all up.

Which chargecooler did you buy? ST185? ST205?

It was an st205.

Also been trying to find an exploded view or any pics of how it fits on the gt4 or other MR2 but not had much luck. Will keep trying though.

I knew It would be here it was just a question of find it. Great forum I just can't seem to find things, even when using the search function which throws up lots of options but never the right one.

Anyway it seems I am going to need a few more bits of a celica to make my life easier? An engine lifting bracket gearbox end, a throttle body sock and cable bracket. And I was wondering if a water filling hard pipe might also help.


Plus the bits I knew I needed. A pump, rad and pipe work. I need to fabricate a tube to fit the dump valve to also.

All in a 2 weeks, I feel a plan coming on.
