Some wires will always need cutting/shutting and it's a damn site easier in the boot/engine bay than in the footwell.
I've never changed the body loom since the 1st turbo conversion i did years ago, and realised i'd completely wasted an hour or so of my life doing so.
And IIRC, there is a speedo sensor wire that'll need messing with behind the rear cockpit bulkhead carpet.![]()
More waste of time.
Keep the body loom, and the wiring mods can be done in the rear of the car in 15 minutes.
