[Mk2] [Generic] Dark car, red center panel?

Just having a scan on the net and came across a SARD demo car:



Is it just me that thinks a red rear center panel works on a dark coloured car (Black/Dark Green etc), or am I in a minority.

Think it ties in nicely with the red of the rear lights, although it does look a bit Mazda 323F....



Thoughts?

Looks great. I suppose it would all come down to the finish in the end in reality though.

Always wondered about a carbon centre on a white mr2 with carbon rev5 blade. As per my own. And maybe intake scoops... Mmmm

I think it's one of those that pictures don't do it justice and it would probably look really good in the flesh ... You could always just get a red rev3 centre panel and put a transfer on it in order to test it

I've got a red rev 3 panel, just dunno whether it'd look good. Might give it a try

Yeah, rev 3 panel is rev 3 super red, so quite a different shade to the lights.

Not a dark colour, but i modded my rear grill panal the other week.

I think it suits nicely.
