Anyone troubles with user celica_bitz?

Post by Ren0W »

He's a "IMOC Affiliated Private Sales", so most likely not.
But, as we speak, I didn't receive any goods nor got my money back.

-Money transferred (and received) 31-01. Would post 2 days later;
-Haven't heard anything by 20-02. So contacted him, got a reply saying that the courier tried to deliver twice (not possible) and asked me again for my address (which was correct). Even after another attempt they couldn't deliver (I can't believe this, neither got any proof they did). They now would sent the items back to the seller;
-Because the items were of no use to me anymore (wrecked car) I told him to keep the items and just refund me (if they still would show up, it would be fine as well, and I would have just kept them). This was 29-02. He told me returning would take 5 working days;
-12-03 already, and had enough of it. Told him it was a issue between him and the courier and asked for a refund;
-14-03 reply received: The parcel is at my local depot awaiting collection. I will have the refund done on Friday.;
-22-03 still nothing. No replies to my PM's either anymore. They have been read.

Note: he didn't inform me, nor kept me updated. Every PM and question/conversation was initiated by me first.

Clearly he sold many items to other persons and this worked out fine I guess, but this is just outrageous in my opinion. Almost 60 days by now!
And mostly because of the false promises and lack of information/updates.

Paypal has been informed, but this has passed the "45 days claim period".

I have reported this guy twice to IMOC mods, and i'm yet to receive a reply :evil:

He has business premises in the Midlands, 30+ auctions on ebay including breaking 5+ cars, and therefore should be paying full Trader Affiliate fees to IMOC, and have to qualify as a trader - landline, VAT registered etc.

If a mod reads this, maybe one might be kind enough to tell me what's happening.

Well... once should be the first time so they say ](*,)

Let's hope Paypal does their duty, and IMOC hands out a ban.

Any updates on this?

Paypal won't do xxxx.
Getting a standard reply "blabla, past 45 days, blabla, can't do anything".

Not even taking in regard it's a con and not even saying they are taking measurements against him to ban him from Paypal.

*#$@*@#**#&$&*&$*$%

Lost €200,- to this xxxx.

Nope. Paypal won't cooperate because I claimed after 45 days.

Anybody got details of this person?
Personal details;
Nicknames, Ebay,
Sites, Facebook, anything?

Ren0W you have PM.

celica_bitz needs to up his basic knowledge of MR2s:

"I WAS TOLD THE ECU HAS BEEN CHIPPED AND THE CAR IS NOW RUNNING 300BHP"

Plus he might like to read up on The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000:

"THERE IS NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE ON CARS SOLD THROUGH AUCTION"
and

"We do not accept returns for correctly supplied parts."

I think as long as you aren't living abroad, so UK based only, you should be fine.
Only positive feedback on Ebay.
AFAIK only me, being in The Netherlands, and another living in Austria have had troubles.

Ad, that's a rather generous proposition!
The goods are of no use to me anymore (he didn't even shipped them), but would sure like my €200,- back.

But I don't think you would achieve something, unless you're like a walking closet and are accompanied by 3 others, if you catch my drift :wink:

Dirk. Mail?
I don't know what you are talking about to be honest?
