Mirror removal

Post by richbay »

Am i right in thinking that to remove the wing mirrors all you need to do is remove the plastic trim ( being careful not to break the plastic clips, dooh)
then just remove the visible screws and off comes the mirror , as i have done this and it will not shift, is there something i am missing or and i not giving it enough force to remove it ?
thanks

It falls off when all 3 screws are removed, therefore you must still have at least one screw still in.

no i have removed the 3 screws and it would not budge, perhaps a bit more brut force is required

They literally fall off when the screws are out, perhaps someone has bonded it on.

Can you mask up around them & spray them in situ ?
