I put a bit of hose pipe in the filler hole with a funnel on the other end, then just pour the oil in.

If i do it at my mates garage (which is alot easier as the car has to be flat) i put it up on the ramp and he has a pump that goes onto his barrels of oil and you hand pump it in till it starts leaking out, then you know its full.

dont forget to take out the oil level plug, to much oil in the box can be a bad thing!

just a quick one that might save a lot of swearing. undo the fill plug first,if its stuck and you have drained the oil you are in trouble. get a good hex socket the plugs are very shallow and can round off with a multi point one.
