anyone own this beast?!

Post by DotNetter »

just doing my nightly "mr2 -(mk1)" search on ebay and came across this newly listed:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MR2-TURBO-T-BAR-3 ... dZViewItem

It's nothing to do with me (so don't ask me questions :)) - but thought I'd find out if it belongs to anyone on here?

I'm liking the engine bay graphics...nice mod ;)

Cheers

Looks like the one that was in banzai or jap performance (can't remember which) a few months back. There's a yellow one that looks almost identical.

Think it's just the light mate. Black always looks dodgy in pics.

I love a real in depth technical discussion pmsl!

I'm sure I've seen that car before, the number plate the owner possibly Baxter? Once had silver Dodge Viper stripes maybe..?

the "bad bits" really put me off for some reason.

perhaps im just being paranoid (fingers been burnt previously). i cant lay my finger exactly on why but for the one it would help if the NoS was actually full as its not the most reliable of things (piping wise) so i d personally like to know its working.

The other bit about the boost controller?

I realise there may be no probs with the car, it just strikes me as an odd one! :| :?

What's with the tiny exhaust pipe in the middle of that beasty silencer?? Surely that's gonna give a huge restriction?

And also, I really don't like the spoiler - looks like a pair of pigs ears on the back of the car in my opinion. Each to their own I guess.

Is it some kind of exhaust baffle? yeah, know what ya mean about the spoiler. Looks a bit naff without the center piece... :-k

Not too keen on the car myself, especially the useful vent in the bonnet... :? :?

"Over ruled my girlfriend and bought this for 6 grand instead".

Says it all.

Be lucky to get 2K for it.

I like the fact that we may have lost the old imoc site but we still managed to retain the bitchiness. =D>
