I have just connected the battery after an forged rebuild, as soon as i connected the battery engine turns over even with no key, wires to starter solonoide all seem ok, i have pulled the starter relay seems ok and trying to check everything wiring relays ect, can any one point me in the right direction, sods law didnt expect this after 12 month rebuild, only alterations to the wiring was new new injectors in the harrness,
anyone?

Shorted out solonoid?
I would do a resistance check across the solonoid with the battery disconnected.
That way you will know if it is shorting out.
You should be able to pick one up for about a tenner.If it is shorting try hitting it with a hammer and hope it frees it up.
To be 100% sure disconnect the solonoid to eliminate parallel paths or you might end up chasing your tail

Think i can help here.
Clue is the recent rebuild.

Check out the loom earth to the underside of the inlet manifold.
Should be a ring terminal attached by M6 bolt.
Make sure clean and tight.
