What colour is my MR2?

Post by Peter C »

Chaps,

I've bought another (my sixth) MR2 today. It's a '96 UK spec GT:

What is the name of this colour please?

I have a Super red one too & an Astral Black one, a freshly polished super red is also my favourite colour too.
FYI Caribbean blue is also called Strong Blue at some paint shops if you need to get paint mixed, the paint code I gave is right though.

I've had a red Rev 1 GT, dark grey Rev 2 T-Bar, white Rev 3 GT, red Rev 3 G-Limited and now this blue Rev 3 GT.

I prefer white and silver MR2s (but not Sonic Shadow), but this Rev 3 looks great in blue.

Been reading your project thread on retro rides. Real shame about the MX5 but the '2 looks nice...

The MX5 was nice and I will have another but in the meantime I'm gonna have some fun with the MR2.

Glad to see you're back in a 2 fella. How's it compare to the rev 1... PAS for those tired old arms?

You could have got a white over silver Mk1  :D

It's good to be back!

You're still here HighwayStar? How many miles has your Rev1 clocked up now? I've told you PAS cars are better than Rev1s, especially when one is knocking on 40.

This was my fleet until last weekend. The Frontera is now gone, replaced by my MR2:
