roof leak t-bar

ive got a slight roof leak on my t-bar, its deffinatly the seal
any one got any good tips? in work we use vaseline so its my only option at the moment.
Or does anyone know of any new seals?

Yeah that - then silicone grease.

Avoids awkward discussions when someone finds a partly used pot of Vaseline in the glovebox :lol:

well the porn mag is on top of the vaseline so dont worry

Check first to see if your car already has eccentric guides

Mine has

They do a good job

all i no is that my car has these little plastic things there anyway, whats the difference?

seat covers covering the stains too? thats always been my excuse haha!

They all have the little black plastic guides

Do yours have the hole in the middle or is it offset ?

You can remove the plastic guide & turn it to one of four positions

With the eccentric guides this can pull the panel further down onto the rubber seal

they were only £1.90 EACH from mr T when I got mine a year ago...they are rare but not super rare...a good parts dept will locate them and get them delivered to a local dealership.

63284-17030 they are all the same, if you can get them, order 2 sets of 4. so 8. :)

managed to get toyota to send me a diagram of all the t-bar parts.
Theres two types, normal and offset, as there only pennies going to see if i can get a set of each
