Re: Rev 3 Turbo
The wheels didn't hang about long at all! They looked great on the car but I really wanted a staggered set.

Re: Rev 3 Turbo
Ok time for an update!
First things first, when I got the car I thought the brakes were TERRIBLE! Not one to do things by halfs, I got onto WMS brakes and ordered up this little bunch.
Consists of Front WMS 4 pot calipers with new 300mm discs, braided hoses all round, new discs and EBC yellow stuff pads all round. Also upgraded the fluid to dot 5.1 and freed up the sliders on the rear calipers.
Manky old set up
Replaced with this
I'm really impressed with this set up, now the pads have bedded in these brakes can rip my face off and I can lock the brakes easily at any speed. Also a massive improvement in steering feel, due to how much lighter these are than the standard brake setup. Overall, very impressed and can't wait to try them out on a track come spring time!
Next up was to get some new wheels. The wheels it came with looked nice, but I wanted a proper staggered set up. Ideally I wanted some 16s (the smallest I could clear the brakes with), but these 17s came up on ebay and I really liked the look of them. They had just been refurbed and fitted with all new bolts and came with Michelin Pilot Sport Exalto tyres which I've always been a fan of, fantastic grip in wet and dry. Fronts are 17 x 7.5 and rears 17 x 8.5 with a nice dish.
Shes now sitting like this
And today I finally got round to getting rid of the STUPID short shifter that was fitted. I hate short shifters, completely loose all feel of the gear change and was horribly notchy.
Stripped out
New shifter swapped in
Finished, just need to get a decent standard gear knob.........if anyone has one PM me . Car feels a million times better to drive now, no more wrestling matches to get the sucker in gear .
That's it for the time being, I have a few more things in the pipeline so will update in due course.

I love them, definitely the most comfortable coilovers I've experienced, brilliant for fast road use. Will see how they hold up on track and have a play with the settings in the coming months.
