WATER TEMP GUAGE NOT WORKING

Re: WATER TEMP GUAGE NOT WORKING
Leave the cap off the filler neck, that'll bleed the engine
!!
Its the highest point.

You mention temp gauge not working.
.
.
.
the sensors in the sensor array below the distributer.
.
to the middle of the head, you'll find the sensors at the end of the array towards the rear of the car.
Check its connected
!!

Failing that, ensure the car is getting up to temperature as the thermostat may be defective and jammed open overcooling the system.

Re: WATER TEMP GUAGE NOT WORKING
My temperature gauge has recently started to read odd values.
Even after a while on the motorway it's reporting low temperatures, though occasionaly it appears to read correctly.

Where is the water temp sender
/ receiver as I'll try to changet this as the first possibility.

Cheers in advance,

Doug.
