WATER TEMP GUAGE NOT WORKING

hi i have just put a turbo engine in my NA car and the water temp guage is not working i have bled the system from the front of the car but i cant find where to bled the water from the engine can any one help thanks.

Leave the cap off the filler neck, that'll bleed the engine !! Its the highest point.

You mention temp gauge not working.... the sensors in the sensor array below the distributer.. to the middle of the head, you'll find the sensors at the end of the array towards the rear of the car. Check its connected !!

Failing that, ensure the car is getting up to temperature as the thermostat may be defective and jammed open overcooling the system.

i had similar problems on my mister2 turbo - all it was ,. was the water temp sender / sensor - it cost me £11 from lucus - sorted

My temperature gauge has recently started to read odd values. Even after a while on the motorway it's reporting low temperatures, though occasionaly it appears to read correctly.

Where is the water temp sender / receiver as I'll try to changet this as the first possibility.

same happened to me, then i noticed, that in the engine bay, a little connector had come off, plugged it in again, and it worked... wahey! :D
