I have enjoyed reading many of the builds and member profiles on imoc over the years and it has always inspired me in my own project.
it has been so helpful in saving money and time as we gain from each others experience.
so i feel that i too should put something back in to the community.
i built my rev2 tubby up starting with the engine and slowly got to where i wanted it until i reshelled and started tweaking the bodywork.
so now the external matches the internal somewhat i think it is time to post some pictures


im starting to build a 5s bottom end and will try to take some pics this time around!!aswell as give a full spec..
Some of spec has been removed as i have had pressure to stop giving out
all the info on my build etc. most have already seen wot they needed to.
future endeavours mean that i shud be keeping some trial and error to myself tho etc..

Not too sure on the headlights, I think I would have went for the Rev6 low rise headlights but I think the shape / lines of the front bumper help pull them off

Hi, yes first JAE and it was very enjoyable, was good to meet you guys.
would have liked to spend more time with the imoc' ers (but as we were on honeymoon lol.) next year if we make it we will get more involved was a bit in awe didnt even make it to show and shine, and missed a whole section of cars at the other end of the paddock,spotted them in the photos after.

Fantastic looking car allround, really like the flared arches. The lights look good but I always feel it takes a novel part of the MR2 away replacing the pop ups for fixed units.

ive had a lot of messages regarding the wheels, rears are 18x12 with a 285 tyre stretched on, fronts are 18x9.5 with a 215/35 strectched on, lots of work for clearance at front i do not advise to copy front as is crazy fitment
rears fitments not so difficult just look a bit wacky races,

obv car still needs to be dropped a few mm , hoping to do a full setup and geometry
