Sorry but I'm with Lauren on this one.

A friend has just bought a 500bhp meth-injected Scooby (!) with the same treatment and it doesn't work on that either. That was the first time I'd seen that mod and now another turns up - is this an emerging trend?

I'm not a fan of carbon when used for styling reasons. Even if I had actual carbon panels the only thing stopping me from painting them would be that it would be adding unnecessary weight again :p

Having said that the orange on our car has faded horrifically in places and I'm probably going to have the engine cover carbon wrapped as a band aid fix for now. Proper carbon panels would be better but the limited market for the mk1 means that no-one ever seems to ever get as far as actually producing them.

As for jokes about DRS, I have put some thought into using the boot lid as an airbrake....
