Hey all,
After a very long time in MR2's, it is time for a change. So my Pride & Joy is up for sale. I am away for a few days with work now but will get some good pictures up when I return.
Price is £3,000 as it stands today. I am in the Bournemouth area for viewing etc.
MR2 Rev 3 T-bar Turbo. 1995. 72K on the clock (but I would guess that 50K of those are kilometres before it was brought over)
MOT till Sept & Tax until FEB 2012
Regular service with silkoline & cold grade plugs -running just over 300bhp on high boost.
Cambelt and Aux belts done less than 10k miles ago by Toyota
Cobra CAT 1 alarm with Certificate
Fuel Filter changed less than 12 months ago.
Front drop Links changed around 18 months ago.
Reg plate is NOT included with sale. car will have original M42###
Mods -
Lenso D1R alloys. 9J rear with 245 profile tyres. 8J front with 215 profile Tyres.
Toyo T1R's all round, good tread.
Clear front, toblerone and rear indicators. As im sure you know the clear rears are uuuuber rare!!
Mirror tint Tbars, rear and rear quarter windows
T-bar bags and shades
ENGINE:
Apexi Induction kit (with 2 shrouds to help keep the hot air away from it)
Berk Technology Intercooler & piping - with GTS Chris Shroud.
Berk Technology Downpipe
Blitz SS BOV
Blitx Nurspec type R exhaust - with bung
full engine dress with polished metal and red hosing.
One off engine lid with rising sun (well, it used to be a one off)
HKS EVC III Boost controller - set to run at 0.9 bar and 1.2 bar
Turbo Timer
HKS Boost controller on A pillar
Japspeed strut bars front & back. in addition to standard rear X bar(in red)
Red LED on dials, clocks & Heater unit
Pioneer head unit (red backlit ofcourse)
Black leather D-style wheel with red stitch
black car mats with red piping
LSC interior seats: half leather, half alacantara, red piping, red mr2 logo.
Matching LSC door cards
black gear gaitor with red stitch (Rhon)
red callipers
Car will also come with a custom centre panel/stereo surround. All it needs is some paint to finish it. I have smoothed in a triple gauge pod into the top stereo DIN, and moulded the right-hand vent to house the turbo timer and boost controller. done this by my own hands in the garage, so its not perfect, but I was happy with it.
Problems/ bugs:
Front bumper could do with a lick of paint as there is some paint peel on the drivers side.
Spec of rust on the front wing, just as it meets the bumper.
Tiny parking ding near Passenger door handle, vertical crease maybe 10-15mm. and I mean tiny!
Knocking from rear susp - few people have hinted at Top Mount but I cant be sure.
steering wheel about 5 degrees of centre due to a stuck boss. I have another steering column to put in its place but have not got around to fitting it yet.
I have no doubt missed off some stuff, but wanted to get a thread up now to see if there is interest. Like I say, more pics to follow in the coming days. PM or call 07828 439 351 for a chat.
Thanks, Matt

Scarletti red one by any chance?
GLWS mate but your price is too low. Sort the top mount, finish the gauge holder off, swap steering column = £4k.

I hope not. If it's the one I'm thinking of it's red, and is a 1G-FE IKE engineering setup. If it's the platinum ice 3S-GTE IS200 then steer well clear

I only ask as I seen someone on 'another' forum with a 3S-GTE Lexus he used for drifting, and was having problems with the sump oil baffles

Re: [FINALIZED] MR2 Turbo Rev 3 - White Tbar - circa 300bhp
ok, few quick pics of the front.
The majority of the small dots here are flies and general crap from the road as I took the photos shortly after we came back from Japshow.
The below photo is me trying to capture the small dent in the passenger door. it is just to the bottom right of the door handle
The next photo shows the small surface rust on the wing, just where it meets the front bumper/tobe strip. (the larger black spot above it dirt)
The is the main offending area. paint chip down near the fog, and then some rough areas as you move over towards the drivers side wheel. I have hit up most of it with a rattle can but needs a pro doing it really
front on photo
Cheers again, Matt
