Gearbox replacement

Post by keith030458 »

Hi
Having purchased a replacement gearbox I now need it fitted, quick questions , How easy/hard to DIY it? , or , How much would it cost to have a garage fit it?

Many thanks

fairly easy to fit, depends on what you are used to doing - if you find it hard to jack car up and change a wheel best take it to a garage, but if you are half handy with a scoket set then its no problem

best to change the clutch too whilst its out unless its been done recently.

Am more than handy with the sockets, but I will admit its a job I've put of for 6 months.
