[Mk2] [Turbo] audio installer

Post by woz_106 »

Hi does anyone know of a decent car audio installer around the west midlands area?

Looking for somebody to wire in a dvd headunit to my jdm active system...or if someone could help me do it for some beer tokens I would be greatly appreciative.

Cheers

All you need is something like this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/230571162194

And to make sure that the DVD unit you choose has RCA / phono preouts on it. Job done.

Im in Stafford, if you bought the car up here I could do it for you for a few beers. As long as you have the right adapter and your standard loom is untouched (I have heard some horror stories about hacked looms where previous owners have bodge fitted aftermarket stuff) It shouldnt take me more than 30 mins to do.

Cheers for the replies lads, pop'd down to a friends house yesterday and he managed to sort it out for me... :D

Thankfully my wiring was standard behind the dash, even though it has had alot of tricks wired into it in the past they did it properly and didn't touch the standard plugs.

The convertor was my first query really to see if I had the right one but thankfully halfords supplied the right one! :o

cheers again guys :)
