[Mk2] [NA] Standard UK NA REV3 Alarm

Post by Ianboom »

I was given one remote with my keys when I bought my MR2.

It works fine, but there's only one and it's a bit tatty.

Can anyone help me identify whether it's standard?

It has one button, has Toyota on the fob and inside it uses an 'old' 12v battery and it looks like the code is set by cutting tracks on the circuit board.

There's another led in the dash and 'microwave sensors' in the A posts. I'm sure the alarm control unit is on the right hand side of the driver's footwell.

It appears to have been fitted after the car left the factory.

Cheers, Ian.

Cheers, you're right, it is scorpion!

I've contacted the manufacturer and I'm waiting to get a price for a new one.

Thanks, Ian.
