indeed so

I am now fully aware of the dangers of interfering with the P.A.S.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
as a result of fitting mechanical
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
'delimiters'.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Additionally, I've now also become aware of a huge potential fire risk in swapping out the instrument cluster for a UK spec one.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Apparently, the wiring and connections are not totally compatible and can result in cabin fires
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
!! Apparently, the ONLY safe way to do this is to strip out the internal works of a UK/MPH speedo and swap it into the existing cluster.

I have, however, now been able to track down and communicate with Stephan Derner who has designed and been producing an electronics package which will achieve BOTH functions; delimiting

& KPH conversion, for Rev2's onward

but, he can modify his electronics package to fit the Rev1 Imports, thus producing the desired delimiting function WITHOUT interfering with the P.A.S.

all else that is required is the fitting of the UK/MPH spec speedo internals into the existing cluster.
