Are TRD engine mounts the same for both 3S-GE and 3S-GTE?
I don't see why they wouldn't be, but I believe they do seperate sets for each engine? What are the differences?

Thanks Jeff, finding it a bit hard to understand whether it's saying they are or they aren't though.

Theyre listed seperately for turbo and N/A as are standard ones so I reckon its a no.

Yeah I just realised.
It's not simply a case of them putting a different part number on and applying a Turbo tax then?

i believe na mounts are 73mm, turbo 79mm and TRD 83.5mm.

I think they are the same but obviously we need some kind of confirmation!

There's a set I could buy for a ton, but I don't want to buy them and find they're wrong as I haven't really got it spare but I wouldn't want to miss out on a cheap set.

Engine side will be the same
Front and back are the same.
(People use standard tubby front ones to upgrade the standard n/a ones)

The only one i'm not sure on is the gear box side one.

Each one DOES have a different part number.
It's very confusing!

I'd have a guess and say they're different.
Not mountings/shape different, but rubber composition, just as the stock N/A vs turbo.
You'd probably find the TRD N/A ones are about the same as stock turbo, and the TRD turbo ones the next stage after that.

The front and back lower mounts are different diameter sizes, na mounts are 73mm, turbo 79mm and TRD 83.5mm so if you are buying replacement inserts you need to measure them, but if you are replacing the complete mount they are interchangeable I have fitted turbo mounts to na's and TRD mounts to na's and even put an na mount on a turbo to get someone out of a hole.

hey guys
- i have to dig this out again.
i just compared my ptnumbers and it seems i have all SW21 versions.
i have a E153 Tranny
+ Gen4 block but a little problem on the mountings.
As we id my swa it was pretty hard to get the rear and/or front mounts to line up with the rear crossmember or with the front firewall mount.

So when we pushed the bolt through the mount on the firewall it resulted in a pretty heavy lift on the rear mount.This way it was pretty difficult to get that one attached to the crossmember.It wasnt possible without pulling the mount down with the help of those long crossmember screws.

Do you think there is something wrong here?Like for example my firewall mount which still is NA one!
