can anybody help me on the insatllation of my wastegate i have a external gate
,bailey dump valve and bmic, rigged up to a precision 3431 turbo and apexi electronic boost controller and i was just wondering were the pipes go to which etc? because im slightley confused iv found pictures on the net but i cant make sense of it as it doesnt have boost controller or dump valve shown

Feed your boost reference
(From an outlet tapped into the compressor housing) to the side port.

When you come to using boost control, simply bleed air from this port.
You can also add air to the top port to control boost, but I like to keep things as simple as possible.

Double post
Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] fitting a tial 38mm wastegate
so i connest one end of the boost control solanoid to the compresser housing the other end to the side wastegate port?
Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] fitting a tial 38mm wastegate
yep, connect the two ports that are normally opened to the outlet on the compressor and the side port.

that way, as boost rises towards spring pressure it will open, and when the solenoid is energised it will bleed a little pressure away so the WG opens at a higher pressure, the higher the duty is set at.
