TwosRus UK any good ?

Post by Jiveman »

Has anyone bought anything from these people in the last few weeks ?.

I have bought some items but can not contact them either by Email and the site appears to be down when filling out the contact form.

Fearing the worst now.

Does anyone know anything about this company it's the first time I've used them

I think it was them selling the adjustable drop links I wanted, I asked on here if anyone had bought them but got no replies.

i have heard loads of stories about this company. A few people have said they were a good company, but i have heard a lot more people say how bad they are.

Waiting times can be any where from a few days to a couple of months to never getting the parts at all.

I've had 2 sets of drop links from them (2nd ones to replace failed ones) both failed 1st set lasted 2 years second set 3 years. I learnt the hard way and will get Toyota ones this time around cheaper drop links are just not worth it.

I just rang this number 01226 289992. from this link http://www.twosrus.co.uk/shop/index.php ... k-kit.html (you might need to select the more info link at the end of description to show the number)

And a chap called Peter said on their voicemail they are on holiday and therefore closed until 10 Sept. That's two months. Alright for some.

Business obviously doing well.

I have contacted Sbits by phone and got a message they are closed until September 10th.

I am trying to be cool about this as people on this site run or are involved with the business but I'm not happy.

I have paid by Paypal so if the parts don't arrive within 45 days I will have to lodge a claim to get my money back and get these people into trouble but what else can I do.

Nowt, and if there is no-one available to provide an update, you may as just well lodge the claim and purchase elsewhere.

I think I've bought most of the items they stock for the Mk1 and I've never had cause for complaint. The droplinks they sell are chunkier than the UK twosrus items and I've always found their customer service to be superb. :thumleft:

BTW if the ball joints of the US twosrus droplinks fail (I've had one go) you can just order a new pair/single end from them. IIRC they're about $16.

Bit of a late reply but wanted to share..

My other half ordered parts from them, took ages - about a month if I remember correctly and they were not new. They were advertised as brand new but were worn, could see where they had been on a car before. I had read posts online saying they could be hit and miss and warned him against it.

Never ever again will they get any of our custom at all.
