[Mk2] [Turbo] Recommend a 10" sub

Post by LuizeGT »

blown my last one up by burning it out. think it was too much gain or something as i have a massive amp and trying to get too much out of the sub. it was a vibe slick which was about 400w RMS

budget is MAX of £100 incl delivery. i want something that goes low with the notes but nice and tight. type of music i listen to varies from dido, trance, dubstep and house.

what would you recommend?

Personal peeference I'd go for the kicker we ran one of the early crv versions for a while and was very happy with it's performance

I use MB Quart shallow fit 10", sealed 0.5 cuft box, and it shakes the car. But they cost a little more then £100.. The box if made correctly will fit behind the seats and not affect seat movement.

Just remember, there's no point spending £100 on a sub if your amp isn't tuned correctly. You'll just blow it up again...

I have a cheap and cheerful Infinity 10", does the job and sounds great...can be had for much less than £100 too...
