Someone didn't click inside the link :oldtongue:

Have a look at the electrical diagrams here:

Just been reading a few items relating to the door issue. As ive got one on mine to. However its slightly different. It does lock the doors as mentioned doing it from the passenger side..not drivers.Or using the lock door switch inside. However i cant get it to work at all with the plip.

Any ideas,

Thanks,

Hi guys,

I had the same issue. Ive just tried a straight forward fix mentioned by another member....for the central locking issue. Hold both buttons down by the car for 5 seconds... This should reset the system. Worked a treat on mine just this second.

i have the same problem on a rev1 turbo, but i dont have a blip...

it was working then one day it stopped, as above, i can lock all the doors from passenger side key and inside control but when trying the drivers door, only the drivers door will lock...

some1 mentioned a sensor is gone, but have no idea what this sensor looks like and where it is..

any ideas?

its usually the sensor on the key barrel that gives up
if you remove the door card ,and look at the key barrel ,there's a plastic cover that operates the central locking when the key is turned ,

On all the cars I've had issues with, its been this plastic cover

(the U shaped yellow bit, that fits over the barrel and slots into the groove you can see)

FWIW the switch is only on the back of the lock on rev1 and rev2 cars, rev3+ it's inside the latching mechanism on the inside of the door. But as Trev says, they can break/fall off the back of the lock quite easily so this would be a good place to look.
