[Mk2] [Turbo] blitz DD Super Sound

Ive just got one of these second hand. Once i fitted it, I was getting the flutter sound on full boost so i adjusted the spring until it was a solid possssst on boost and a mix of the two in normal non-boost pre 3000 revs.

the prob is, every photo ive seen of other peoples setup the spring is nearly in fully, mine on the other hand is out a good wack, maybe an inch to an inch and a half. is this normal? I have taken it apart and sanded and greased it up making it like new again.

I know there is different springs and the one in mine felt very tough, could the previous owner changed the spring to the hard one and im actually at the right setting?

im running stock boost and my adjustment thread has about 3mm sticking out from the locking nut that is flush with the body of the bov, with this set up it does not vent until its past 4ish psi apon quick spool up. (when hot)

there are 2 types of spring, i think the stock one is good for 18psi and then there's a mental one for like upto 25psi or something along them lines.
