my mate just bought a rev2 turbo and it idles at 2,000 when cold and 1500 when warm.

i took he oil cap of and it droped down to 900.

so i think its a blockage in the breather to the rocker cover.

pulled off the pipe and the revs drop from 1500 to 800 but as the maf meter has a hole past it, it idles really lumpy then stalls.

is this a common blockage area.

also can you get rid of the maf and put a map sensor in as im sure it restrictive.

if so how would i go about doin this.
