MR2 specialists in the north west. Manchester/Cheshire

Sorry if this should be posted elsewhere. If so, let me know and I will delete/move it.

Since my ordeal with Toyota, I would like to know if there are any specialists that carry out all kinds of MR2 work in the north west area . Preferably Manchester / Cheshire.

I would like to take my mr2 for some TLC next time, at an affordable price. Somewhere that prides itself in quality servicing.

They're cheap, work only on Toyota's, and so far have been very good. Let me know if you find out about anyone else.

I've also heard about Mental Racing Developments in Liverpool http://www.fastmr2.com/frameset.htm, but have no experience with them.

Have a word with Ric Wood in Stockport, they are dastek dealers and seem to know a bit about MR2's. They have worked on mine and I was very impressed.

i used to use these, Joe who ownes it is a good fella, nice prices. ex Mr.T meachanics, didn't like the way Mr.T worked/charged, so set up on own.

i only stopped using them when i got the unit & could do everything myself (can't get much cheaper labour than free!)

engine out & re-fit new one £120
clutch change £80 (not inc clutch)

It has to be Chris Wilson mate!! He's rebuilds race engines but also specialises in jap cars, mainly mr2's, supras and skylines. He's in Cheshire.

I used to take all my cars to him before I started to do the work on my cars myself
