Clutch pedal bite is still high after replacement

Post by fizz »

Hi all,

I have had the clutch replaced on my NA and the biting point is still very high!

Any ideas?

Theres a adjuster on the pedal Fizz, its an akward job laying on your back
looking up at the pedals.
You will need a torch and a couple of 12mm spanners i think :pale:

Take it back to the "man", he'll have it sorted in seconds!

Is the engine ok then?

Hey Pete,

Yeah the engine seems nice and rev happy. Will either take it back to 'the man' or my local place.

bit off topic - Did you get my links for the job agencies?

Very nice... and going by our outing my old car seemed to have the legs on yours so that must have been something a bit more? :-k

Yes, you shouldn't have sold it. Your reasoning doesn't stick with me as you went out and bought another MR2

Its an NA.. so cheaper on fuel.. also sold the tubby before it started to depreciate.

Also i wasnt intending on getting another MR2 but needed a car asap and the old MR2 insurance was still running until April and cant get a refund from them as its a classic jobbie. Hence bought a cheap NA so it can be a direct swap on the insurance and run it till April.

There is logic in there somewhere!
