[Mk2] [Turbo] apexi power intake fake or real?

Hi Guys,

I recently purchased an Apexi Power Intake but I'm wondering if it is a genuine item. It's for a gen 3 turbo. My concern is the pipe for the BPV to connect to looks like it is glued in place is this the way it is supposed to be? I thought it would have been welded or something. Also I have seen some pics where the piping is black and mine is silver is there a difference?

doubt you'll find much cheaper unless you hit the "Flea bay"

oh yeah, i had a fake one of these bought it off some guy on the "OC" it said dual FANNEL filter around the top of the cone, instead of dual FUNNEL. I still got it somewhere i'll get a pic.

oh man is that true that there are so many parts faked..
ok i checked the site and did found another guy on ebay selling them..
called Hdmperformance.seems to have some other parts i need too.
i compared with oversea prices and see its more expensive.but i guess thats because all those parts are imported.
iam not sure to take this apexi.listening to youtube soundfiles iam not sure which intake sounds good on a turbo with allt hose restrictions like chargecooler and turbo..
