[Mk2] [NA] Finished my Manual Conversion

Howdy just thought I'd put a couple of pics up and information about the work I've just finished on my car )

After writing off my rusty matt black runabout mr2 in June I decided to pull my finger out and use the parts from the black car to convert my other Mr2(nicer and a better colour - but an Auto ) to a manual.

Here's a list of parts that I stole from the Black car and used in the swap:
- Engine (would have used the other but this one was healthier)
- Gearbox
- Clutch Pedal + Master cylinder
- Clutch assembly and Flywheel
- Clutch Slave cylinder
- Clutch Lines
- Manual ECU and engine harness

Both cars are Rev1's which meant I could retain the mechanical speedo, the manual harness plugged straight into the fusebox in the engine bay. The hardest part of the swap was taking out and installing the clutch lines as it meant pratting about with the fuel tank handbrake cables etc. Other than that the swap was straight forward there was a hole ready for the clutch master cylinder, all the mounts were the same and I managed it without the use of an engine crane :cool Instead of installing the manual brake pedal I simply took an angle grinder to the auto one

Really glad I finished the conversion as it is soooo much more fun to drive now and feels a bit faster aswell )

Good work. Could have saved yourself a bucket load of trouble though and run a single piece braided line from the Master to the Slave
