Dodgy fuel gauge?

Post by b4rk3r »

So while driving home a few nights ago i was low on petrol and didn't want to put texaco crap in. I drove to the other side of Coventry to get some Optimax, didn't think i'd make as the fuel gauge was below the lowest mark  BUT the red light didn't come on once.

On all my previous 2s the light would come on when the gauge had about 1 notch left.

So how do i find out if my gauge is out? Is there a way of calibrating it at all?
