I think I have a gearbox mount bolt missing

Post by Phill P »

As above.

Had a look under the car today at sorting a out the ns sill that has a dent in from the previous owner jacking the car up on the sill and I noticed that a bolt appears to be missing between the gearbox mounting bracket and the body. Its the left hand side squashed dounut looking thing, the other round mount is bolted firmly to the gearbox.

It is a new gearbox as the previous owner managed to crack the old one on a car park bollard that lifted up when he drove over it

sorry about the dodgy mobile phone pic.

The view is the correct way up and is just infront of the nearside rear wheel.

Any thoughts or links to a pic of that area.

cheers in advance Paul :thumleft:

Yes your front torque mount bolt is missing, get a second hand one or part number for the bolt is 90105-12211 with nut 90179-12069 from toyota .

This is not a guru corner topic though, and should be in the main forum.
