have a rev 1 turbo, had a engine rebuild couple of thousand miles ago,
the problem is if it put my foot down, i can hear the turbo spool up boost guage is running on standard, and sits fine, no smoke out at the back, but it does just not feel right, like it wants to go buts feel like something stopping it. if that makes sense?
if i rev it it sometimes sounds like a back fire fromt he exhaust.
idels fine etc, and normal driving its great.
Not leaking any water or oil etc
thats the cover on the back, and on heavey rain water must get in
some times it feels better, but its not 100% i can feel it wanting to go, but like something stopping it, any idears guys ?

Re: turbo not feeling right
If it`s idling fine then don`t think it`ll be the dizzy cap, sounds more like a fueling problem, test the air flow meter using the online BGB there`s a how to guide.
