how come its not worth it? guessing the price for the power gain. i beleive you get just as much power from this as a decat tho.

SARD, HKS, CATCO, VIBRANT and I think there is a couple companys that make them but they are all universal 3" high flow cats taht are made to be welded! :-k I'm also planning to get one for my MR2 and flange it so that it's removeable, I hate the smell of exhaust fumes  ! :thumleft:

Yep, I doubt there will be any power gains at all. Total waste of money. All a sport cat is, is a cat with the centre section of the cat removed. So if you imagine, cat material a gap and then cat material. The amount of extra flow gained will be most probably near non.

You normally fine that messing with exhausts on NA cars acheives a power loss as opposed to gain. Without real supporting mods it is truly pointless.

De catting a turbo is another matter....Very much worth it. I presume you cannot just de cat with the emission laws in the US?

It would be nice if someone made a downpipe with a high flow cat in it, then at least I wouldnt have to faff about so much at mot time though.

Sard do make one but it costs a bomb and nobody has any info on it.

Also youve got to remember the us cars actually have two cats, wheras ours only have one.
