[Mk2] [SC] Recommend a rolling road place in the south east.

Post by JP1 »

Looking to get my Rev3 tubby on the rollers for a health check. I'm in greenhithe in Kent so would ideally be looking for somewhere in the south east.

I dont think there are any specific problems with it but I'm off to nurburgring in a month and just want it all to be spot on.

That said I do travel down from Crewe on thursday afternoons so if there is someone that is highly recommended on the M6-M1 route I could pop by on my run home.

Thanks for any help.

John.

Cheers James, will drop them an email now. The car is pretty standard so no mapping required, just the setting up of the boost controller.

Just want to get an idea of how well the old girl is doing before she gets another spanking at the ring 'oooer'

Its the coolant system /alternator health/ and suspension you really need checking out.

Its one of the above the will most likely let you down.

When I said the car was pretty standard I was refering to the engine really as it has no stand alone ecu to map, standard internals etc. Its just that I want to know that I'm running the power I think (hope) I should have. I also fitted a boost controller I while back and have never really been 100% convinced I have set it up right, gain, actuator opening time etc so will hopefully see on the rollers.

With regards to the rest of the car its got the usual mods, coilovers, chargecooler etc and I'm pretty happy with that side of things, for now atleast.

Impossible performance

Post by Mike N »

"Imposible performance" just outside Canterbury off the A2.

They do all cars incl 4 WD and specialise in all the Jap stuff and Turbo Skoda's.

Weather you have any type of stand alone or mostly std, they do it.

They have good MR2 knowledge and will be doing my own car soon.

Also interesting to note - they are a TEIN coilover springs dealer and very helpfull.

Ask for Mike and tell him Mike sent you!
