Are you talking plug leads if so the engine heat can expand the air in the plugcap and pop it off look for some small breather holes (clogged up, or cut but not removed) ive heard Magnecor leads can suffer this problem.

At last, someone answers!...thanks cosmos :)

Yep, the plug cap, I know what you mean by your explaination but have never heard of it, thats not to say it cant/doesnt happen, as obviously it can/does, and has.

I will look to see what they are, and for these holes, if its not Magnecor and there are no holes, what then?

Thanks though..

There should/must be a way of venting that hot air in the plugcap before its popped off go over it with a magnifying glass, also check the good ones and see if they have something that no 1 hasnt, good luck. Magnecor leads are known to have the holes pressed out but sometimes the centres dont completely detach.Rob.
