Anyone know anything about Carbon fibre Dipping / Sheets ?

Post by T-Bar Turbo »

Does anyone know where you can get carbon fibre dipping done ?

Basically i have hacked up a spare center dash trim and added a pod to it but rather than spraying the dash trim a normal colour i'm toying with the idea of getting the center dash trim, the trim under the clocks and the air vent surround on the passenger side and possibly the gear stick surround covered in carbon fibre

I have seen those kits you can buy for about £45 which are all good and well if its just something simple you wish to cover i think doing the trim with one of those will be a bit tricky ... A friend suggested to get it all carbon dipped ?

Has anyone done this before or knows where it can be done ?

Cheers

not heard of that replikit do carbon stuff might be able to sort something out for you, my mate is learning about carbon fibre at the moment he is building a ultima kit car and he has had the whole body made from carbon which i understand is the first one,
he had to ask the kit car people very nicely for the moulds to give to a carbon company to copy, i said thats good you learn away and you can make me some bits for me he is very clever and a perfectionist in all that he does. :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:
she's all comming together nicely now after a fair bit of cash spent, not bad for just an n/a now for some body kit i think.
