need some opinions please

Post by scott64 »

i have a 91` imported mk2 rev1 :D with only 51,000 mls on the clock and its completely original, with the 14" alloys and it still has the original radio/cassette and cd player (only goes to 90fm  ) it runs beatiful with no rattles or creaks everything works and here is my delema...should i moddify it or not i have had plenty of modded cars in the past but as a classic car i am unsure if i should mess about with it bigger alloys exhaust and induction kit...what do you think your oppinions are most welcome on this subject and perhaps they could help me on the right road :D

Modify it sensibly.

Stick to a decent quality exhaust, decent intake, decent suspension and dont go fitting big GT wings and silly side skirts if you bothered about spoiling it.

Keep all your standard stuff and as said, you can fit it all back on if it makes a difference.

(P.S. my car is a peice of xxxx so you maybe shouldn't listen to me lol)

Everyone has their own preference, but apart from adding a set of aftermarket wheels I think MR2's are nice enough as they are. Be unique and leave it alone mate :thumleft:

16" are considered to be the best all round size for handling on the mk2 :thumleft:

it starts with changing the front indicators to clear.......... next thing your trying to sqeeze a highly tuned v8 into a trd kitted mr2 body... lol

only thing i can say here is... its only a car. who cares if ya keep it standard or not. its not a ferrari... keeping it standard wont earn you much more on resale.

so do what you want with it. if your bored with how it looks , then change it.
